Marlborough Dance Studios follows the internationally renowned Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus and grading structure. We provide high quality teaching to all ages and abilities in Marlborough and Pewsey, Wiltshire.
We enter pupils for RAD examinations when they have attained sufficient proficiency; we are proud to state that we consistently achieve excellent results which rewards and motivates the children.
Our fundamental aim is to teach Ballet in a friendly, warm and nurturing environment that will build confidence and motivate students to reach their full potential. Our engaging lessons are designed to inspire a true love of dance whilst providing a strong foundation in Classical Ballet.
The school was founded in Ramsbury in 1974 by Elizabeth McIndoe and was originally named "The Elizabeth McIndoe School of Dancing". The school has since grown to cover the areas of Marlborough and Pewsey.
Our past pupils have gained places at Rambert, Royal Ballet School, Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, and RAD Degree Programmes.
Following Elizabeth's retirement in July 2019, Laura Broomham has taken the helm as principal.
Laura began dancing at the age of 5, and at the age of 18 gained a place at the Royal Academy of Dance under the prestigious "The Art and Teaching of Ballet" degree programme.
Laura graduated with full Registered Teacher Status (RTS) and was awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD).
